स हि धर्म पुरस्कृत्य दीर्घदर्शी परं हितम्‌ । उभयो: पक्षयोरयुक्तिं वक्ष्यत्यर्थविनिश्वयम्‌

Transliteration

sa hi dharma-puraskṛtya dīrgha-darśī paraṁ hitam | ubhayoḥ pakṣayor ayuktiṁ vakṣyaty artha-viniścayam ||

Translation

Dhṛtarāṣṭra dijo: «Pues Vidura pone el dharma por delante y ve a lo lejos. Con el bien supremo en mente, declarará el proceder adecuado para ambos bandos y dará un juicio decisivo sobre lo que debe hacerse.»
