देवने कुशलश्षाहं न मे5स्ति सदृशो भुवि । त्रिषु लोकेषु कौरव्य त॑ त्वं द्यूते समाह्दय,मैं जूआ खेलनेमें बहुत निपुण हूँ। इस कलामें मेरी समानता करनेवाला पृथ्वीपर दूसरा कोई नहीं है। केवल यहीं नहीं, तीनों लोकोंमें मेरे-जैसा द्यूतविद्याका जानकार नहीं है। अतः कुरुनन्दन! तुम द्यूतक्रीड़ाके लिये युधिष्ठिरको बुलाओ

Transliteration

devane kuśalo 'haṁ na me 'sti sadṛśo bhuvi | triṣu lokeṣu kauravya tvaṁ dūte samāhvaya ||

Translation

Duryodhana dijo: «Soy diestro en el juego; en esta tierra no hay nadie igual a mí. En verdad, ni siquiera en los tres mundos hay quien conozca el arte de los dados como yo. Por eso, oh vástago de los Kurus, llama aquí a Yudhiṣṭhira para una partida de dados.»
