दुर्योधनस्य बलिवर्णनम् — Duryodhana’s Description of Tribute at the Rājasūya
एवं स निश्चयं कृत्वा ततो वचनमत्रवीत् । पुनर्गान््धारनृपतिं दहुमान इवाग्निना,ऐसा निश्चय करके दुर्योधन चिन्ताकी आगसे दग्ध-सा होता हुआ पुनः गान्धारराज शकुनिसे बोला
evaṁ sa niścayaṁ kṛtvā tato vacanam abravīt | punar gāndhāranṛpatiṁ dahumān ivāgninā ||
Así, tras tomar su determinación, Duryodhana habló. Ardiendo como si el fuego lo chamuscara—por la llama interior de su cavilación angustiosa—se dirigió de nuevo al rey de Gandhāra, Śakuni, apremiando su propósito.
