Even amid political tension, Yudhiṣṭhira acts through dharma: he honors elders and seeks orderly counsel by formally summoning teachers, guardians, and kinsmen, showing that legitimate action is grounded in respect, procedure, and relationship.
Vaiśampāyana narrates that Yudhiṣṭhira arranges a gathering: he has Nakula go to Hastināpura to call Bhīṣma, Droṇa, Dhṛtarāṣṭra, Vidura, Kṛpa, Duryodhana, the brothers, and other well-wishers devoted to him.
