तृणपीडं यथाकामं पूर्णयोगं समुष्टिकम् । एवमादीनि युद्धानि प्रकुर्वन्ती परस्परम्

Luego, a su antojo, empezaron a emplear uno contra otro llaves y maniobras como tṛṇapīḍa—retorcer y torcer las extremidades como briznas de hierba trenzadas para hacer una cuerda—y pūrṇayoga con golpes de puño, usando fintas y ataques súbitos. Así se trabaron en combate cercano, poniendo a prueba fuerza y destreza en una contienda regida por la dura lógica de la arena más que por la compasión.
