Kṛṣṇasya Khāṇḍavaprasthāt Dvārakā-prayāṇaḥ | Krishna’s Departure for Dvārakā

तया स्वजनगामीनि श्रावितो वचनानि स: । सम्पूजितश्चाप्पसकृच्छिरसा चाभिवादित:,सुभद्राने बार-बार भाईकी पूजा करके मस्तक झुकाकर उन्हें प्रणाम किया और माता- पिता आदि स्वजनोंसे कहनेके लिये संदेश दिये

Transliteration

tayā svajanagāmīni śrāvito vacanāni saḥ | sampūjitaś cāpi punaḥ punaḥ śirasā cābhivāditaḥ ||

Translation

Habiendo recibido de ella los mensajes destinados a sus propios parientes, él la honró repetidas veces; y, con la cabeza inclinada, volvió una y otra vez a rendirle respetuosos saludos. El pasaje subraya la ética de la reverencia y la conducta correcta hacia los mayores y las mujeres dignas de honor, aun en medio del movimiento político y del conflicto que se avecina.
