ज्ञातित्राणमभीप्सद्धिरस्मत्सम्भावना कृता । उस दुरात्मासे पीड़ित हो भोजराजवंशके बड़े-बूढ़े लोगोंने जाति-भाइयोंकी रक्षाके लिये हमसे प्रार्थना की

Transliteration

jñātitrāṇam abhīpsadbhir asmat-sambhāvanā kṛtā |

Translation

Deseando la protección de sus parientes, los ancianos de la estirpe real de los Bhoja—oprimidos por aquel malvado—se acercaron a nosotros con el debido honor y presentaron su súplica. El episodio subraya un deber dhármico: cuando los vulnerables son hostigados por un gobernante injusto, es recto buscar amparo justo y suplicar con respeto; y los poderosos están obligados a responder con mesura y justicia.
