Arjuna’s evacuation of Dvārakā, Vasudeva’s rites, and the caravan’s crisis
कृतं भीमसहायेन यमाभ्यां च महाभुज । पुरुषप्रवर! महाबाहों! तुमने भी भीमसेन और नकुल-सहदेवकी सहायतासे देवताओंका महान् कार्य सिद्ध किया है
kṛtaṃ bhīmasahāyena yamābhyāṃ ca mahābhuja | puruṣapravara mahābāho tvayāpi bhīmasena-nakula-sahadeva-sahāyatā devatānāṃ mahān kāryaḥ siddhaḥ ||
Dijo Vyāsa: «Oh héroe de poderosos brazos, el mejor de los hombres: con la ayuda de Bhīma y de los dos hijos gemelos de Yama, se consumó una gran obra para los dioses. Y tú también —sostenido por Bhīmasena y por Nakula y Sahadeva— llevaste a término una gran empresa en favor de los devas.»
व्यास उवाच
Great undertakings—especially those aligned with dharma and a higher purpose—are fulfilled through disciplined cooperation and rightful support; the verse highlights merit shared among allies rather than solitary glory.
Vyāsa addresses a heroic figure with honorific epithets and credits the successful completion of a major, god-serving task to the combined assistance of Bhīma and the twin brothers Nakula and Sahadeva (called ‘the two of Yama’).
