Arjuna’s evacuation of Dvārakā, Vasudeva’s rites, and the caravan’s crisis

न चेह स्थातुमिच्छामि लोके कृष्णविनाकृत: । इत: कष्टतरं चान्यच्छुणु तद्‌ वै तपोधन,फिर भी श्रीकृष्ण मुझे छोड़कर चले गये। मैं इस संसारमें उनके बिना नहीं रहना चाहता। तपोधन! इसके सिवा जो दूसरी घटना घटित हुई है वह इससे भी अधिक कष्टदायक है। आप इसे सुनिये

na ceha sthātum icchāmi loke kṛṣṇa-vinākṛtaḥ | itaḥ kaṣṭataraṃ cānyac chṛṇu tad vai tapodhana ||

Arjuna dijo: «No deseo permanecer en este mundo privado de Krishna. Pero, oh tesoro de austeridad, escucha: ha ocurrido otro suceso aún más doloroso que este.»
