Transliteration

tayor apanayāt pārtha vṛṣṇayo nidhanaṃ gatāḥ | yāv tau vṛṣṇipravīrāṇāṃ dvāv evātirathau matau ||

Translation

Dijo Vasudeva: «Oh Pārtha, por la mala conducta y la pérdida de freno en torno a esos dos, los Vṛṣṇis han llegado a su ruina. Esos mismos dos—Sātyaki y Pradyumna—tenidos por los más eminentes héroes de la estirpe vṛṣṇi, contados en verdad entre los grandes guerreros de carro, se convirtieron en la ocasión por la cual cayó todo el clan.»
