Chapter 6: Dāruka’s Report; Arjuna Witnesses Dvārakā’s Desolation (दारुकवृत्तान्तः—अर्जुनस्य द्वारकादर्शनम्)
The verse highlights acceptance of the Divine will and the inevitability of separation in worldly life. Even intimate familial bonds cannot bind the Lord’s course; the devotee is called to endure loss with surrender and steadiness.
Vasudeva reports that Kṛṣṇa, after speaking, left him and departed with some boys toward an unspecified direction. It marks Kṛṣṇa’s withdrawal from the visible scene, intensifying the sense of the Yādava era’s closure in the Mausala Parva.
