उत्पातदर्शनम् — Portents and Kāla among the Vṛṣṇis

तृणं च मुसलीभूतमपि तत्र व्यदृश्यत

tṛṇaṃ ca musalībhūtam api tatra vyadṛśyata

Y allí, incluso las briznas de hierba se veían transformadas en mazas: un presagio funesto de que lo ordinario se había vuelto instrumento de ruina, como si el destino mismo hubiera tornado lo inofensivo en dañino.
