उत्पातदर्शनम् — Portents and Kāla among the Vṛṣṇis
इस प्रकार श्रीमहाभारत मौसलपर्वमें उत्पातदर्शनविषयक दूसरा अध्याय पूरा हुआ,अग्निहोत्रनिकेतेषु वास्तुमध्येषु वेश्मसु । वृष्ण्यन्धकानखादन्त स्वप्ने गृध्रा भयानका: अग्निहोत्रगृहोंमें जिनके मध्यभागमें वास्तुकी पूजा-प्रतिष्ठा हुई है, ऐसे घरोंमें भयंकर गृध्र आकर वृष्णि और अन्धकवंशके मनुष्योंको पकड़-पकड़कर खा रहे हैं। यह भी स्वप्रमें दिखायी देता था
agnihotraniketeṣu vāstumadhyeṣu veśmasu | vṛṣṇyandhakān akhādanta svapne gṛdhrā bhayānakāḥ ||
Vaiśampāyana dijo: «En sueños se veía a buitres aterradores entrar en las casas donde se guardaba el fuego del Agnihotra—hogares cuyo espacio central había sido consagrado con el rito de Vāstu—y allí apresaban y devoraban a hombres de los linajes Vṛṣṇi y Andhaka.»
