मौसलोत्पत्तिः — The Birth of the Musala and the Sages’ Pronouncement
अन्वकुर्वन्नुलूकानां सारसा विरुतं तथा । अजा: शिवानां विरुतमन्वकुर्वत भारत,भारत! सारस उल्लुओंकी और बकरे गीदड़ोंकी बोलीकी नकल करने लगे
anvakurvann ulūkānāṃ sārasā virutaṃ tathā | ajāḥ śivānāṃ virutam anvakurvata bhārata bhārata ||
Vaiśampāyana dijo: «¡Oh Bhārata, Bhārata! Las grullas comenzaron a imitar el ulular de los búhos, y las cabras comenzaron a imitar los aullidos de los chacales».
वैशम्पायन उवाच
When social and moral order collapses, nature itself is portrayed as ‘out of tune’; such omens warn that unchecked arrogance, intoxication, and loss of self-control invite inevitable downfall.
