Omens Observed and the Hearing of the Vṛṣṇi Destruction
Unchecked anger and internal discord, once set in motion, can consume even the most illustrious lineages; moral restraint and vigilance within one’s own community are essential to uphold dharma.
The narrator signals a turning point: from this day, Kṛṣṇa (Janārdana) and Balarāma are portrayed as wrathful and ready to act, foreshadowing the catastrophic unraveling of the Vṛṣṇi–Andhaka clans in the Mausala Parva.
