असूत शापजं घोरं तच्च राज्ञे न्यवेदयन् | विषण्णरूपस्तद् राजा सूक्ष्मं चूर्णमकारयत्,जब साम्बने उस शापजनित भयंकर मूसलको पैदा किया तब यदुवंशियोंने उसे ले जाकर राजा उग्रसेनको दे दिया। उसे देखते ही राजाके मनमें विषाद छा गया। उन्होंने उस मूसलको कुटवाकर अत्यन्त महीन चूर्ण करा दिया
asūta śāpajaṃ ghoraṃ tacca rājñe nyavedayan | viṣaṇṇarūpastad rājā sūkṣmaṃ cūrṇam akārayat |
Cuando Sāmba produjo aquella terrible maza nacida de la maldición, los Yādavas la llevaron y se la comunicaron al rey Ugrasena. Al verla, el rey se llenó de aflicción y ordenó que la maza fuese machacada y reducida a un polvo finísimo.
