सेनावशेषं तं दृष्टवा तव सैन्यस्य पाण्डव:
senāvaśeṣaṃ taṃ dṛṣṭvā tava sainyasya pāṇḍavaḥ, viśrutaṃ triṣu lokeṣu vyākṣipad gāṇḍivaṃ dhanuḥ |
Dijo Sañjaya: Al ver que de tu ejército no quedaba sino un remanente, el Pāṇḍava (Arjuna), célebre en los tres mundos, se encendió en ira, empuñó su arco Gāṇḍīva y, con el renombrado bramido de su cuerda, se lanzó contra tus fuerzas de carros.
