आसाद्य भीमसेन तु संरब्धा युद्धदुर्मदा: । विनेशु: सहसा दृष्टवा भूतग्रामा इवान्तकम्
āsādya bhīmasena tu saṃrabdhā yuddha-durmadāḥ | vineśuḥ sahasā dṛṣṭvā bhūta-grāmā ivāntakam ||
Dijo Sañjaya: Aquellos soldados—enfurecidos por la ira y embriagados por la soberbia de la batalla—se precipitaron a trabarse con Bhīmasena; pero al verlo como si fuera la Muerte misma ante sus ojos, fueron aniquilados de improviso, tal como los seres perecen en el instante en que contemplan a Yama.
