पाण्डवेयस्त्वसम्भ्रान्तो वायव्यास्त्रेण वीर्यवान् । अपोवाह तदाभ्राणि राधेयस्य प्रपश्यत:,पराक्रमी अर्जुन इससे विचलित नहीं हुए। उन्होंने राधापुत्र कर्णके देखते-देखते वायव्यास्त्रसे उन बादलोंको उड़ा दिया
pāṇḍaveyas tv asambhrānto vāyavyāstreṇa vīryavān | apovāha tadābhrāṇi rādheyasya prapaśyataḥ ||
Sañjaya dijo: El hijo de Pāṇḍu, sin turbarse y firme, empleó con poder heroico el Arma del Viento (Vāyavya-astra) y, ante los propios ojos de Rādheya, barrió aquellas nubes. El instante subraya la serenidad de Arjuna en la batalla: responde a las demostraciones hostiles no con pánico ni crueldad, sino con destreza disciplinada y claridad de propósito.
