ततो द्रुतं चैकशरेण पार्थ शितेन विद्ध्वा युधि कर्णपुत्र:
tato drutaṃ caikaśareṇa pārtha śitena viddhvā yudhi karṇaputraḥ
Dijo Sañjaya: Entonces, con presteza, el hijo de Karṇa hirió a Pārtha en medio del combate con una sola flecha, afilada como una navaja; un acto que intensifica la tensión moral del duelo, donde la destreza y la determinación se ponen a prueba bajo las exigencias mayores del deber en la guerra.
