ततो हताश्वादवरुह् याना- दादाय चर्मामलरुक्मचन्द्रम् । आकाशसंकाशमसिं प्रगृहम दोधूयमान: खगवच्चचार
tato hatāśvād avaruhya yānād ādāya carmāmalarukmacandram | ākāśasaṅkāśam asiṁ pragṛhya dodhūyamānaḥ khagavac cacāra ||
Sañjaya dijo: Entonces, cuando sus caballos fueron abatidos, descendió del carro. Tomando un escudo inmaculado con un emblema dorado en forma de luna, y empuñando una espada clara y brillante como el cielo, la hizo girar mientras se movía, recorriendo el campo como un ave.
