'पुरुषसिंह! ऐसी अवस्थामें तुम पुरुषार्थका भरोसा करके क्षत्रिय-धर्मको सामने रखते हुए अर्जुनपर चढ़ाई करो ।।

Transliteration

puruṣasiṁha! etādṛśyāṁ daśāyāṁ tvaṁ puruṣārtha-bharosā kṛtvā kṣatriya-dharmaṁ puraskṛtyārjunam abhyārohaya. bhāro hi dhārtarāṣṭreṇa tvayi sarvaḥ samāhitaḥ; tam udgṛhya mahābāho yathāśakti yathābalam.

Translation

Dijo Sañjaya: “¡Oh león entre los hombres! En una crisis como ésta, confiando en tu propio esfuerzo y poniendo por delante el deber del kṣatriya, arremete contra Arjuna. Pues Duryodhana, hijo de Dhṛtarāṣṭra, ha depositado sobre ti toda la carga; así que, oh de brazos poderosos, toma ese peso y sosténlo según tu fuerza y tu vigor.”
