विद्रवन्तु दिशो भीता: सिंहत्रस्ता मृगा इव । “श्रीकृष्ण! आज कर्णके मारे जानेपर राजासहित धृतराष्ट्रके सभी पुत्र सिंहसे डरे हुए मृगोंके समान भयभीत हो सम्पूर्ण दिशाओंमें भाग जायूँ
vidravantu diśo bhītāḥ siṁhatrastā mṛgā iva |
Dijo Sañjaya: «¡Oh Śrī Kṛṣṇa! Cuando Karṇa sea muerto hoy, que todos los hijos de Dhṛtarāṣṭra, con su rey, huyan aterrados en todas direcciones, como ciervos espantados por un león».
