आश्चर्य सिन्धुराजस्य वधं जानन्ति पार्थिवा:

āścaryaṃ sindhurājasya vadhaṃ jānanti pārthivāḥ

Dijo Sañjaya: Los reyes supieron de la asombrosa muerte del soberano de Sindhu—un suceso que se propagó por el campo de batalla como señal de cuán velozmente el destino y el valor pueden derribar incluso el poder real en la guerra.
