संरम्भिणो युद्धशौण्डा बलिनो दण्डपाणय: । एते सुयोधनस्यार्थे संरब्धा: कुरुभि: सह
saṃrambhiṇo yuddhaśauṇḍā balino daṇḍapāṇayaḥ | ete suyodhanasyārthe saṃrabdhāḥ kurubhiḥ saha ||
Sañjaya dijo: «Feroces en el asalto, ufanos de su destreza en la guerra, fuertes y con las armas en la mano: estos hombres, junto con los Kurus, han sido incitados a la acción por la causa de Suyodhana.»
संजय उवाच
The verse highlights how martial strength and readiness can be driven by allegiance and agitation; ethically, it points to the danger of being ‘rushed into’ violence for a partisan cause rather than guided by discernment and dharma.
Sañjaya describes the Kaurava side: warriors, armed and battle-hardened, have become inflamed and mobilized, acting in support of Suyodhana (Duryodhana) as the conflict intensifies.
