इयेष निर्गन्तुमथो वनाय त॑ वासुदेव: प्रणतो5भ्युवाच
iyeṣa nirgantum atho vanāya taṁ vāsudevaḥ praṇato 'bhyuvāca
Dijo Sañjaya: Cuando resolvió partir hacia el bosque, Vāsudeva—inclinado en reverencia—se dirigió a él. Aquel instante marca un giro moral: el retiro y la renuncia no son enfrentados con fuerza, sino con consejo respetuoso, insinuando que aun en la crisis debe guiarse al hombre por la humildad y la palabra recta, y no por la coerción.
