युधिषछ्िर उवाच
The verse highlights responsible inquiry after a morally weighty act: even in righteous war, the manner of a great warrior’s fall matters, inviting reflection on dharma, necessity, and the ethical contours of victory.
After learning that Karṇa has been killed, Yudhiṣṭhira addresses Arjuna with a heroic epithet and asks him to recount precisely how Karṇa was brought down in battle, seeking a full report of the circumstances.
