Cosmic Spectatorship and Vows
पश्यतां ते महाराज पुत्राणां चित्रयोधिनाम् | शकुने: सौबलेयस्य कर्णस्य च विशाम्पते,नरेश्वर! प्रजानाथ! विचित्र युद्ध करनेवाले आपके पुत्रोंके, सुबलपुत्र शकुनिके तथा कर्णके देखते-देखते यह सब हो रहा था
paśyatāṃ te mahārāja putrāṇāṃ citrayodhinām | śakuneḥ saubaleyasya karṇasya ca viśāmpate naraśvara prajānātha vicitra-yuddha-karṇevāle āpake putroṃke subalaputra śakunike tathā karṇake dekhate-dekhate yaha saba ho rahā thā |
Dijo Sañjaya: «Oh gran rey, señor del pueblo, soberano de los hombres: todo esto ocurría ante los propios ojos de tus hijos, guerreros de destrezas diversas, y también ante Śakuni, hijo de Subala, y Karṇa. Mientras miraban, se desplegaba el terrible curso de los acontecimientos».
