Karna’s Suppression of the Panchala–Somaka Forces
इस प्रकार श्रीमह्ााभारत कर्णपर्वनें श्रीकृष्ण और अर्जुनका संवादविषयक साठवाँ अध्याय पूरा हुआ,सारथिस्तमपोवाह रथेन रथिनां वरम् । कुरुसैन्यं ततः सर्व भीमसेनमुपाद्रवत् तब उसका सारथि रथियोंमें श्रेष्ठ उत्तमौजाको रथके द्वारा वहाँसे दूर हटा ले गया। फिर तो सारी कौरव-सेना भीमसेनपर टूट पड़ी
sañjaya uvāca | sārathis tam apovāha rathena rathināṃ varam | kuru-sainyaṃ tataḥ sarvaṃ bhīmasenam upādravat ||
Sañjaya dijo: El auriga llevó entonces con presteza, en su carro, a aquel guerrero excelso, alejándolo del lugar. Acto seguido, todo el ejército de los Kurus se lanzó hacia delante y acometió contra Bhimasena. En el apretón de la guerra, la retirada táctica y el asalto colectivo se vuelven decisivos, mientras el peso moral de la violencia y del deber sigue suspendido sobre cada movimiento.
