रथाश्रैते सुवित्रस्ता भीमसेनभयार्दिता: | “दुर्योधनकी विशाल सेनाके अधिकांश वीर अत्यन्त खिन्न हो उठे हैं और वे रथी भीमसेनके भयसे पीड़ित हो संत्रस्त हो गये हैं

rathāśritāḥ suvittrastā bhīmasenabhayārditāḥ |

Sañjaya informa que muchos guerreros del vasto ejército de Duryodhana, sacudidos y profundamente turbados, se apiñaron junto a sus carros en busca de amparo, abrumados por el temor que inspiraba Bhimasena. El verso subraya que el derrumbe interior—miedo y pérdida de resolución—puede quebrar a un ejército incluso antes que las armas.
