Karṇa’s Pressure on the Pāñcālas; Duryodhana Disabled; Arjuna’s Counter-Advance
काक काकेति वाशन्तं निमज्जन्तं महार्णवे । कृपया<5<5दाय हंसस्तं जलक्लिन्न सुदुर्दुशम्
kāka kāketi vāśantaṁ nimajjantaṁ mahārṇave | kṛpayā dāya haṁsas taṁ jalaklinnaṁ sudurduśam ||
El cuervo clamaba: «¡Kāka! ¡Kāka!» mientras se hundía en el vasto océano. Conmovido por la compasión, un cisne se apiadó de aquella criatura empapada y desdichada y acudió en su auxilio—mostrando que la misericordia puede extenderse incluso a los indefensos y afligidos, sin atender a su naturaleza.
