कर्णेन युधिष्ठिरानीकविदारणम् / Karṇa’s Breach of Yudhiṣṭhira’s Battle-Line
ततो भूयोअब्रवीद् देवो देवानिन्द्रपुरोगमान्
tato bhūyo ’bravīd devo devān indrapurogāmān | tataḥ mahādevaḥ punar indra-ādi-devatābhyaḥ uvāca—“śāyad etān daityān na mārayeyuḥ” iti matvā yuṣmābhiḥ kathaṃcid api śoko na kartavyaḥ | yūyaṃ asurān etena bāṇena “mṛtān eva” manyadhvam ||
Entonces el Señor divino habló de nuevo a los dioses encabezados por Indra. Mahādeva dijo otra vez a Indra y a las demás deidades: «No os aflijáis en modo alguno pensando: “Quizá estos Daityas no sean abatidos”. Considerad a los Asuras como ya muertos por esta flecha».
