गन्धर्वा देवसंघाश्ष तथैवाप्सरसां गणा: । रथपर आखरूढ़ हुए देवेश्वर शिवकी महर्षियों, गन्धर्वों, देवसमूहों तथा अप्सराओंके समुदायोंने स्तुति की
gandharvā devasaṅghāś ca tathaivāpsarasāṃ gaṇāḥ | rathopari samārūḍhaṃ deveśvaraṃ śivaṃ maharṣibhir gandharvair devasaṅghaiś cāpsarogaṇaiś ca stutam ||
Dijo Bhīṣma: Los Gandharvas, las huestes de los dioses y las compañías de Apsaras, asimismo, alabaron a Śiva—soberano de los dioses—mientras él avanzaba en su carro; con reverencia y cánticos lo honraron en presencia de los grandes rishis y de los seres celestiales. La escena subraya que, aun en el marco bélico de la epopeya, la autoridad suprema es reconocida mediante devoción y justa alabanza.
पितामह उवाच
The verse highlights reverence toward the supreme divine authority: even exalted celestial beings uphold dharma by offering praise to Śiva, affirming that rightful devotion and acknowledgement of higher order remain central even in a war-driven narrative.
Bhīṣma describes a celestial scene in which Gandharvas, gods, Apsarases, and great seers praise Lord Śiva as he rides upon his chariot, presenting a moment of divine presence and veneration within the broader events of the Karṇa Parva.
