कर्णेन युधिष्ठिरानीकविदारणम् / Karṇa’s Breach of Yudhiṣṭhira’s Battle-Line
एतस्मिन्नेव काले तु दैत्या हासन् महाबला: । तैस्तदा दर्पमोहाद्यैरबा ध्यन्त दिवौकस:
etasminn eva kāle tu daityā hāsan mahābalāḥ | tais tadā darpamohādyair abādhyanta divaukasaḥ ||
En aquel mismo tiempo, los Daityas, crecidos en fuerza desmesurada, rieron con aire de triunfo. Dominados entonces por el orgullo, el engaño y otros vicios, comenzaron a hostigar a los moradores del cielo.
