सर्वेषां चैव सैन्यानां कर्णमेवागमन्मन: । सूतपुत्रं महेष्वासं बन्धुमात्ययिकेष्विव
sarveṣāṃ caiva sainyānāṃ karṇam evāgaman manaḥ | sūtaputraṃ maheṣvāsaṃ bandhum ātyayikeṣv iva ||
Dijo Sañjaya: La mente de todos los ejércitos se volvió únicamente hacia Karṇa, hacia aquel hijo del auriga, el gran arquero, del mismo modo que, en una hora de grave peligro, el pensamiento acude instintivamente a un pariente de confianza.
