अध्याय २९: कर्णस्य शल्यं प्रति शापस्मरणं च युद्धनिश्चयः | Chapter 29: Karṇa recalls curses to Śalya and declares resolve for battle
अथ विस्फार्य गाण्डीवं रथे नृत्यन्निवार्जुन: । शरसम्बाधमकरोत् खं दिश: प्रदिशस्तथा,इसके बाद रथपर नृत्य करते हुए-से अर्जुनने गाण्डीव धनुषको फैलाकर आकाश, दिशा और विदिशाओंको बाणोंसे भर दिया
atha visphārya gāṇḍīvaṃ rathe nṛtyann iva arjunaḥ | śara-sambādham akarot khaṃ diśaḥ pradiśas tathā ||
Dijo Sañjaya: Entonces Arjuna, como si danzara sobre su carro, tensó el Gāṇḍīva hasta el extremo y así atestó el cielo—junto con todas las direcciones y los puntos intermedios—con una densa lluvia de flechas.
