त्रिपुरदाह-इतिहासः
Tripura-destruction exemplum and counsel to Śalya
तत्रातुष्यन्त योधाश्व सिद्धाश्चापि दिवि स्थिता:,सुतसोम जो वहाँ पैदल होकर भी रथपर बैठे हुए शकुनिके साथ युद्ध कर रहा था। उसके इस अविश्वसनीय और अद्भुत कर्मको देखकर वहाँ खड़े हुए समस्त योद्धा तथा आकाशकमें स्थित हुए सिद्धगण भी बहुत संतुष्ट हुए
tatrātuṣyanta yodhāś ca siddhāś cāpi divi sthitāḥ |
Dijo Sañjaya: Entonces, los guerreros que allí estaban quedaron grandemente complacidos, y aun los Siddhas que moran en el cielo sintieron honda satisfacción. Al presenciar en medio de la batalla una hazaña tan extraordinaria, aprobaron el valor y la firme resolución mostrados, como si los mismos mundos confirmaran la excelencia heroica cuando se manifiesta sin vacilar ante el peligro.
