संछाद्यमान: सहसा कर्णचापच्युतै: शरै: । चिच्छेद स शरांस्तूर्ण शरैरेव महारथ:,कर्णके धनुषसे छूटे हुए बाणोंद्वारा सहसा आच्छादित होते हुए महारथी नकुलने तुरंत ही उसके बाणोंको अपने बाणोंद्वारा ही काट गिराया
sañchādyamānaḥ sahasā karṇacāpyacyutaiḥ śaraiḥ | ciccheda sa śarāṃs tūrṇaṃ śarair eva mahārathaḥ ||
Sañjaya dijo: Aunque de pronto quedó cubierto por las flechas disparadas desde el arco de Karṇa, el gran guerrero de carro Nakula cortó con presteza aquellas mismas flechas con sus propios proyectiles: flecha contra flecha en el ardor del combate.
