दिवाकरकरप्रख्यानड्डश्नचिक्षेप तोमरान् । नकुलाय शतान्यष्टौ त्रिचैकैक॑ तु सो5च्छिनत्,अंगराजने नकुलपर सूर्यकिरणोंके समान तेजस्वी आठ सौ तोमर चलाये; परंतु नकुलने उनमेंसे प्रत्येकके तीन-तीन टुकड़े कर डाले
divākarakaraprakhyān aḍḍaśan cikṣepa tomarān | nakulāya śatāny aṣṭau tricaikaikaṃ tu so 'cchinat ||
Dijo Sañjaya: Karṇa, el rey de Aṅga, arrojó contra Nakula ochocientas lanzas tomara, fulgurantes como los rayos del sol. Pero Nakula cortó cada lanza en tres pedazos.
