द्रोणस्तु शरवर्षेण च्छाद्यमानो महारथ: । वेग॑ चक्रे महावेग: क्रोधादुद्वृत्य चक्षुषी
droṇas tu śaravarṣeṇa cchādyamāno mahārathaḥ | vegaṃ cakre mahāvegaḥ krodhād udvṛtya cakṣuṣī ||
Dijo Sañjaya: Aunque lo cubría una lluvia de flechas, Droṇa —el gran guerrero del carro— se rehízo y despertó una velocidad aún mayor; con ira, los ojos muy abiertos, mostró un feroz arrebato de poder.
