न मृष्यति हत॑ नूनं भूरिश्रवसमाहवे । “यह अधिरथपुत्र कर्ण सात्यकिके रथकी ओर जा रहा है। अवश्य ही युद्धस्थलमें भूरिश्रवाका मारा जाना इसके लिये असहयू हो उठा है

Transliteration

na mṛṣyati hataṃ nūnaṃ bhūriśravasam āhave |

Translation

Dijo Sañjaya: «Sin duda no puede soportarlo: que Bhūriśravas haya sido abatido en el campo de batalla». La frase enmarca el instante como un sobresalto emocional y moral en medio del caos de la guerra, donde la muerte de un guerrero célebre provoca una reacción inmediata y renueva la ferocidad.
