यत्र तौ पुरुषव्याप्रौ पितापुत्रो महाबलौ | प्राग्ज्योतिषेण संयुक्ती भीमसेनघटोत्कचौ,महाराज! इसी समय श्रीकृष्ण जिनके सारथि हैं, वे पाण्डुनन्दन अर्जुन सब ओरसे शत्रुओंका संहार करते हुए वहाँ आ पहुँचे, जहाँ वे दोनों पुरुषसिंह महाबली पिता-पुत्र भीमसेन और घटोत्कच भगदत्तके साथ युद्ध कर रहे थे
sañjaya uvāca | yatra tau puruṣavyāghrau pitāputrau mahābalau | prāgjyotiṣeṇa saṃyuktau bhīmasenaghaṭotkacau ||
Sañjaya dijo: «En ese mismo instante, Arjuna—hijo de Pāṇḍu, con Śrī Kṛṣṇa como auriga—llegó allí, derribando enemigos por todos los lados, al lugar donde los dos guerreros poderosos, semejantes a leones, el padre y el hijo Bhīmasena y Ghaṭotkaca, estaban trabados en combate con Bhagadatta de Prāgjyotiṣa.»
संजय उवाच
In the midst of war, dharma expresses itself as timely support and protection of one’s allies: Arjuna’s arrival signifies the duty to reinforce comrades engaged with a powerful foe, preventing adharma through neglect and sustaining collective resolve.
Bhīma and his son Ghaṭotkaca are fighting Bhagadatta, the ruler associated with Prāgjyotiṣa. As the clash intensifies, Arjuna—driving with Kṛṣṇa as his charioteer—reaches that battlefield sector while striking down enemies on all sides.
