भीष्मशिबिरगमनम् — Duryodhana’s Visit to Bhīṣma’s Camp and the Command Appeal
वृषभस्तु महाराज बहुधा विपरिक्षत: । अमुच्यत महारीौद्रात् तस्माद् वीरावकर्तनात्,महाराज! वृषभ बहुत घायल हो गया था तो भी वीरोंका उच्छेद करनेवाले उस महाभयंकर संग्रामसे उसने अपने-आपको किसी प्रकार मुक्त कर लिया
vṛṣabhas tu mahārāja bahudhā viparīkṣataḥ | amucyata mahāraudrāt tasmād vīrāvakartanāt ||
Sañjaya dijo: Oh rey, aunque Vṛṣabha estaba herido y maltratado de muchas maneras, de algún modo logró librarse de aquella batalla en extremo feroz y espantosa, un campo de matanza que segaba a los héroes.
