Irāvān-nidhana-anantaraṃ Ghaṭotkaca-nādaḥ
After Irāvān’s fall: Ghaṭotkaca’s roar and the clash with Duryodhana
ततः सैन्यानि सर्वाणि तावकानि विशाम्पते । निराशान्यभवंस्तत्र जीवितं प्रति भारत,प्रजानाथ! भरतनन्दन! उस समय आपकी सारी सेनाएँ वहाँ अपने जीवनसे निराश हो गयीं
tataḥ sainyāni sarvāṇi tāvakāni viśāmpate | nirāśāny abhavaṃs tatra jīvitaṃ prati bhārata ||
Dijo Sañjaya: Entonces, oh señor de los pueblos, todas tus tropas allí—las de tu bando—perdieron la esperanza incluso de conservar la vida, oh Bhārata.
