भीष्मभीमसमागमः — Bhīṣma–Bhīma Strategic Engagement and Counsel to the King

विन्दानुविन्दावावन्त्याविरावन्तमभिद्रुतौ । नकुल और सहदेवने अपने मामा मद्रराज शल्यपर धावा किया। अवन्तीके विन्द और अनुविन्दने इरावानूपर आक्रमण किया

vindānuvindāv āvantyāv irāvantam abhidrūtau |

Dijo Sañjaya: Vindā y Anuvindā, los príncipes de Avanti, cargaron velozmente contra Irāvān. En el mismo ímpetu de la batalla, Nakula y Sahadeva se lanzaron sobre su tío materno, Śalya, rey de Madra, mostrando cómo la guerra obliga incluso a los parientes cercanos a enfrentarse como enemigos, cada cual atado a la lealtad y al deber que ha escogido.
