स तै: परिवृतः पार्थो भ्रातृभि: कृतनिश्चयैः । प्रजासंहरणे सूर्य: क्रूरैरिव महाग्रहै:,ऐसा निश्चय करके उन सब भाइयोंने कुन्ती-कुमार भीमसेनको घेर लिया, मानो प्रजाके संहारकालमें सूर्यदेवको बड़े-बड़े क्रूर ग्रहोंने घेर रखा हो
sa taiḥ parivṛtaḥ pārtho bhrātṛbhiḥ kṛtaniścayaiḥ | prajāsaṃharaṇe sūryaḥ krūrair iva mahāgrahaiḥ ||
Sañjaya dijo: Así, el hijo de Pṛthā fue rodeado por sus hermanos, firmes en su determinación—como el Sol en el tiempo de la destrucción del mundo, cercado por grandes y crueles planetas.
