इति श्रीमहा भारते भीष्मपर्वणि भीष्मवधपर्वणि संकुलयुद्धे सप्ततितमो5ध्याय: ।। ७० || इस प्रकार श्रीमह्याभारत भीष्मपर्वके अन्तर्गत भीष्मवधपर्वमें संकुल-युद्धविषयक सत्तरवाँ अध्याय पूरा हुआ
iti śrīmahābhārate bhīṣmaparvaṇi bhīṣmavadhaparvaṇi saṅkulayuddhe saptatitamo 'dhyāyaḥ || 70 ||
Sañjaya dijo: «Así, en el sagrado Mahābhārata, dentro del Bhīṣma Parva, en la sección relativa a la caída (muerte) de Bhīṣma, llega a su fin el capítulo septuagésimo, que trata de la batalla confusa y densamente entrelazada».
संजय उवाच

Sañjaya signals to Dhṛtarāṣṭra that the chapter describing a ‘saṅkula’ (confused, intermingled) phase of the Kurukṣetra battle has concluded, within the Bhīṣma Parva and the sub-section focused on Bhīṣma’s fall.
