Description of the Dvīpa, Varṣas, and Mount Meru
योजनानां सहस््नं च शतं च भरतर्षभ । उत्सेधो वृक्षराजस्य दिवस्पृड्मनुजेश्वर,भरतश्रेष्ठ! मनुजेश्वर! उस वृक्षराजकी ऊँचाई ग्यारह सौ योजन है। वह (ऊँचाई) स्वर्गलोकको स्पर्श करती हुई-सी प्रतीत होती है
sañjaya uvāca | yojanānāṃ sahasraṃ ca śataṃ ca bharatarṣabha | utsedho vṛkṣarājasya divaspṛg manujeśvara ||
Dijo Sañjaya: «Oh toro entre los Bharata, oh señor de los hombres: este rey de los árboles se alza hasta una altura de mil cien yojanas. Su elevada estatura parece como si tocara los mismos cielos».
