Description of the Dvīpa, Varṣas, and Mount Meru
उत्तरा: कुरवो राजन् व्याख्यातास्ते समासतः । मेरो: पार्श्वमहं पूर्व वक्ष्याम्यथ यथातथम्
uttarāḥ kuravo rājan vyākhyātās te samāsataḥ | meroḥ pārśvam ahaṃ pūrvaṃ vakṣyāmy atha yathātatham ||
Dijo Sañjaya: “Oh rey, te he descrito brevemente la región de Uttara-Kuru. Ahora describiré, en el debido orden y tal como es en verdad, la tierra de Bhadrāśva situada al oriente del monte Meru.”
