यथावच्च तम भ्यर्च्य ब्रह्मा ब्रह्मविदां वर: । जगाद जगत: स्त्रष्टा परं परमधर्मवित्‌,ब्रह्मवेत्ताओंमें श्रेष्ठ, परम धर्मज्ञ, जगत्‌स्रष्टा ब्रह्माजीनी उन तेजोमय परम पुरुषका यथावत्‌ पूजन करके उनकी स्तुति की

Transliteration

yathāvac ca tam abhyarcya brahmā brahmavidāṁ varaḥ | jagāda jagataḥ sraṣṭā paraṁ paramadharmavit ||

Translation

Dijo Bhīṣma: Tras rendirle culto como es debido, Brahmā—el primero entre los conocedores de Brahman, creador de los mundos y supremo conocedor del dharma—habló entonces, ofreciendo alabanzas a aquella radiante Persona Suprema.
